I’m getting excited about my next event: the second installment of ArtScienceCamp—an unconference for artists and scientists.

Transcendent Man is a documentary about Ray Kurzweil that’s screening in Toronto Friday evening as part of the Planet in Focus Film Festival.

Subtle Technologies is collaborating with Planet in Focus and OCADU’s S-Lab to put on a discussion after the screening with Madeline Ashby (science fiction writer), George Dvorsky (futurist and ethicist) and Greg Van Alstyne (design educator). Given the controversial topic, I’m expecting the discussion to be pretty lively.
